Avoid Email and Phone Scams Using These Tips

Remember the following facts when it comes to the many scams that we get by email and phone.

1. The IRS will NEVER call or email you. They will only send you certified letters by USPS. So you can ignore any phone call scams or emails from someone claiming to be the IRS.
2. You will not receive phone calls telling you that you can lower your interest rates on all your credit card.
3. Microsoft has not been FORCED out of business so they do not owe you a refund for prepaid support.
4. If you get a phone call saying your pc has errors hang up and DO NOT give them access to your pc to “Fix” it.

I know it is easy to get caught up in the moment but always take a step back. Take a moment to think about it and hang up on calls relating to any of these points.
